Vents

I am going to stick an extractor in the bathroom and another over the kitchen. What have people used as the exterior grill? I'm finding lots of 4 inch vents on eBay, which don't look up to the job (maybe they are?). And I've found decent looking roof mushroom vents. But nothing I'm happy with for the side.

Any ideas?

I put the mushroom roof fan in my shower and a turbo fan on the roof in the kitchen area it has its own cover you just wind up to open when the fan is in use. As steam rises I thought this was the best option rather than a side mounted fan.

I used fiamma roof vents with built in fans to get both light and ventilation into the bathroom and kitchen areas.

Roof or side , depends how much solar you want I suppose
