I grin from ear to ear with feeling of self contentment whenever I am out and about in my self built Renault Master conversion. Mar 27, 2016

      Phil,
Would love to see pics of your build, are they on show anywhere?
      Thanx

Sadly Fergus they aren't up on the forum as I am more than somewhat inept when it comes to uploading images to websites, however if you send me your email address I will pop some over to you as an attachment with absolute pleasure.
        All the best

A cardboard engineer by trade and training and then later becoming a qualified exponent of promotional marketing which resulted in me setting up my own specialist business. Then our house flooded in 2000 and we totally upped stumps, sold up and moved to live permanently in France where we built 2 very successful 'camping a la ferme' sites.
But after 10 happy years I am afraid all the hard work got the better of me and the various surgeons insisted I did no more hard physical work and so we sold up again and returned to live in a very remote barn conversion which we purchased unseen over the internet!! After just over 2 years in beautiful, unspoilt rural Wales we decided to sell and move closer to family and friends in Lincolnshire.
As for motorhomes, well I had looked a large number of them and in general hated all flimsies that I saw, I also saw several self built vans and thought to myself, well if they can so can I and loved every second of the self building process.
